Create a Tasker task using the FsIntents plugin for Tasker and automatically check-in whenever and wherever you like! You can, for instance, automatically check-in at your work place when you connect to your work's wifi connection. Or you can check-in at your favorite restaurant if you stay in the restaurant's vicinity for more than 10 minutes. The only limit is your imagination.
*Locale
(WARNING: LOCALE IS AN ANDROID APP THAT AUTOMATES TASKS ON YOUR PHONE. THIS FEATURE ONLY WORKS WITH LOCALE INSTALLED)
FsIntents is now also a Locale plugin! You can check-in to foursquare with Locale and costumize your check-in needs to your heart's content!
*Wifi check-ins

Create a shortcut on your homescreen by choosing one of your favorite venues.All you need to do now to check-in is touch the shortcut. You will receive a notification when your check-in is done.

The Official Foursquare app substitute for check-ing in, 2Step Check-ins! Create an FsIntents 2Step shortcut on your homescreen, and check-in with only 2 steps:
1 - Touch shortcut
2 - Touch Venue
You're done! Never open your foursquare app for check-ing in again!
*QR Check-ins
Visit http://goo.gl/5DuMe on your PC to create QR tags that you can then use to automatically check-in with FsIntents. Print out these tags and physically place them at your favorite venues so you and everyone else can check-in easier and faster! Use homescreen shortcut to scan the QR tags.
*Voice Check-ins
Configure your favorite venues in FsIntents with voice commands, and check-in using your voice. Use homescreen shortcut to issue voice commands to FsIntents.

Good... As far as functionality goes it is doing what is supposed to, but it lacks a lot in the design part. I would consider buying it if it would have a better design. At least on my Desire S it has some misplaced element.

doesn't work right. check-ins are off-the-grid, so you don't get credited, & can lose mayorships, even if you check-in with this every day.

Works well, opted for the pay version If you have an ICS device make sure you turn off force GPU acceleration. You can't configure the app with it on. Once configured, you can turn GPU acceleration back on, it will check in fine that way.

Welcome, your mayorship. Limited to two checkins per day but beyond that it works very well. I might buy the full version so I can become mayor of the world. muihahahhaa </end evil laugh>

Get the full version. Very good, pay for the full version though as you can't import data from the free one and it takes time to get all that info input.

Very cool, but by default tags check-ins with "#FsIntents" which it doesn't warn you about.

Good app Was testing this and it let me check into somewhere 5 miles away with shortcut. Shouldn't it look to see if I'm close enough?
