Description
Can you hear a dog whistle? Probably not. Dogs hear higher frequencies better than people do. That’s why dog whistles seem to be silent. Dogs hear the high frequency sounds that we can't. High frequency sounds usual travel further than voices and can be heard further away. Each of the file is a 10 second file with specified frequencies. The sound is played once. You can control volume of the sound by using volume control. Remember dog whistle's cannot be heard by humans.
Dog trainers use dog whistles to get a dog’s attention. Hand signals are often combined with dog whistles. A dog whistle can be made of plastic or metal. Some think different breeds react to different high frequencies. Smaller dogs are more sensitive to higher frequencies compared to larger dogs.
You can click on these files and try to hear them. You may not but I’ll bet your dog or cat will! Play them through good speakers if you’re going to listen to them.
Dogs lose their hearing as they age just like people do. Test each of the sounds with your dog(s) to see which one(s) works better.
Some of the phones probably won’t reproduce these high pitched sounds accurately. So test the sounds with your dogs and phone to make sure they understand. Inspired by jetcityorange.com
Best and Reak Dog Whistle application. Don't be fooled by apps that produce human sounds rather than Dog Whistle.
Dog whistle produces Sounds that tease the dogs and produce both pleasant and teaser sounds.

Incorrect frequencies You guys, the human audible range does not exceed 20 kHz. So then why can I hear the 36 to 52 kHz? they can't be, if I can hear them. Did you guys pass high school physics? With this app, I would've failed you.

makes high pitched sounds, but frequencies seem off. 28khz is the highest pitched tone i can hear from this, while 52khz, 36khz, and 12khz all sound lower pitched(12-high 36-mid 52-low) 28khz is also closest to the sound coming from an old TV with sound off. i can't comment on the 20khz and 44khz options because those are inaudible to me. i tried this on an LG Optimus 2x with CM9
