DoomGLES comes with Doom shareware datas.
If you own (ultimate) Doom and/or Doom 2, copy the wad file (doom.wad or doom2.wad) in your device at this location: /sdcard/Kokak/DoomGLES/
!!! FULL GAME IWADS ARE NOT PRESENT IN THIS RELEASE !!!
Then select, from the launch menu, Doom or Doom2 as IWAD. The OpenGLES datas will be downloaded.
Here the size of the downloaded datas:
Ultimate Doom datas: ~100MB
Doom 2 datas: ~185MB
Plutonia datas: ~80MB
TNT datas: ~70MB
So please be patient while it downloads the datas...
On some devices, the game may not launch after the datas have been installed. It is the case if the "Downloading Datas" waiting box disappears and the game doesn't launch after 30 seconds. Simply exit the game (home button) and relaunch it.
For any download issue, please look at the faq: http://kokak.free.fr/android/DoomGLES.htm#faq, or contact me directly.
On the launch window you can choose various options, you can also add classic doom command line parameters (like "-warp episode map").
To use a custom PWAD, copy it to your device in /sdcard/Kokak/DoomGLES/, copy converted datas in the same folder, and add on the command line "-file wadname.wad"
To convert PWAD datas, see http://kokak.free.fr/android/DoomGLES.htm#howto
Read here to know how to control DoomGLES: http://kokak.free.fr/android/DoomGLES.htm#controls

Keep at it! Excellent job, my friend. I admire your dedication and just know that you are a hero to the Doom community. It's been too long of a wait for a good source port for Android, and I can tell this is going to be the definitive download when it's done. I'm running it on a Kindle Fire with Cyanogenmod 7, and aside from some sprite glitches on Doom 2 (seeing enemies through walls at times, missing textures such as the bars to the left of the entrance of MAP01), it runs amazingly and the controls are great.

V Good, improve touch controls Very good port, but touch screen controls need improvement. 'Mouse look' mode will give you RSI in your thumb. 'No mouse look' needs a floating analog stick, currently the turn bar is very easy to miss and does not turn you fast enough. 5 stars when improved as otherwise EXCELLENT.

Very good Game plays great. I am having a few issues with the dynamic lighting crashing though. Still worth the price. Running on SGSII. Developer is fantastic with feedback and updates for your issues. Now he should make quake.

Good Port; Can't wait for new features! Runs well on my Xperia Play. Looking forward to the Xperia Play Touchpad controls because the L/R strafing is terrible. 4/5 for now, 5/5 when I see those! And latest update broke the Xperia Play buttons working by default (I have to keep setting them in the options...)
