Phenomenon is eliminated at the end of the 1 second wait. Exit the screen directly, so a more obvious way that has enhanced information.
However, the devices need to have administrator privileges, and will be supported in later versions of Froyo.
If you really wish to delete the program to unregister the device manager and then remove it.
(Settings> Location and Security> Select device administrators, select the "ScreenOff" revocation checking).

Needs to support Gingerbread Great app...I loved it...until I updated from Froyo to Gingerbread...now it doesn't work. Please make compatible with Gingerbread.

Ok, does the job. But it takes too long to switch off the screen and disable the buttons. Why can't it simply switch everything off immediately???

Just a blank black screen to simulate sleep. Why should I pay for that. FAIL. Refuses to refund.

Not EXACTLY as if you pressed the sleep button (that's disallowed by Google), but close enough. Works well. Home key wakes, though.
