We went tasting in Napa using Wine Tasting Tab. We wanted to explore the Howell Mountain area. This app had a profile of a winery open only By Appointment. But it showed us that they often accepted same-day appointments. So, we called them up, followed the directions on the app. You wouldn't believe it. This place let us taste for FREE and among the wines we sampled was a 1996 CAB! Amazing. That, alone, was worth the price.
