Description
"the Clave" is a clave pattern metronome app for Android phones – with four selectable patterns including Son, Rumba, Afro (6/8) and Bossa Nova.Tempo is variable from 40 to 240 beats per minute (cut time), and the timing is accurate to the nearest sample (22µs).
It’s a useful practice aid, whether you are beginning to play Latin music, or an experienced sonero. And it’s FREE!

Great Effort Was surprised to find this. Is it me, or are the last two beats too close together at a tempo of 120 and higher? Btw, Jullian is not too smart. He's not a musician and because he can't use it he gives it two stars. Also, I appreciate the "no permissions".

Simple But Useful Works as a clave time keeper for Afro-latin (3-2 & 2-3) and as a straight metronome. Next request: cata/palitos/casacara! Only 5 star i ever give anything.

By the looks of the other comments it's usefull if you play an instrument. Otherwise it's not worth downloading.and it becomes very annoying very quickly.

Love this! The only suggestion I have is it would be nice to see rhumba clave written out in 6/8 with a triplet feel. Otherwise its a great tool. Thanks!

Very nice job. Great for practicing on the congas, and the written notation is the icing on the cake! 5 stars all the way.
