Description
The Power Scheduler is an app designed for the Android OS. This app will allow you to manage and schedule when features such as Wi-Fi, Data (EDGE), Bluetooth, and Airplane Mode will Turn ON/OFF. You will also be able to schedule the brightness on your phone. For example, you might want to set your brightness to 10% at night and 70% during the day. This app will do that for you automatically and will save your battery life.Changed the label "Data (EDGE)" to "Data (APN)" to more accurately
reflect what is actually happening. There has been some confusion from
users (see most recent review) as to what this feature is actually
doing. The app is actually not altering EDGE, 3G, or 4G settings. Due
to android limitations, the app cannot (programmatically) turn off
Data in the same way a user would so instead it disables your Access
Point Name (APN) connection information (i.e. the phones Data Network
login information for your carrier). This removes your carriers data
network and has the effect of disabling data (including the battery
savings), however, data has not strictly been disabled (only your APN
settings have been). Therefore, if you disable data with this app,
manually re-enabling data outside the app using the OS Mobile Network
settings will not work as expected. If data has been disabled with
this app, the best way to re-enable data is to use the apps manual
Data switch or Data schedule.

Does not work 100%... It disable my wi-fi connection in the mornings but does not enable it in the evenings. Also my 3G get switch off on its own and I suspects it is this app. It's a nice looking app though.

HTC Desire HD Seems to work nice. Haven't used the mobile data scheduler, since I always keep it off anyway. Would love a feature to change ringer profiles (ex. set to vibrate when going to work, normal when off work).

Dimmer doesn't always work. The screen dimming feature works only a small fraction of the time. Wish it worked all the time...maybe next update?

Problems with galaxy s2 and ics Worked fine under gingerbread but since update to ice cream sandwich it will not switch services on and off.

cool app this is easily the best app as functions/usability goes. it's easy to schedule stuff and manually enabl/disablle stuff. there is one realy annoying bug, when entering the app the automatic brightness gets disabled every time. for this i give it 4* for this bug alone(would go to 3* if i did not like the app as much as i do). also missing the option to schedule the disabling or enabling part only, not enable/disable only. for instance i would like to have the bluetooth disabled at 20.00 but want to manually enable it every time.

It renamed my 3G APN setting... Fortunately I know the setting for this one, otherwise I have no idea on how to fix it without resetting the whole phone... and the airplane mode didn't work as per the setting. I set 1am to turn on and 6am to turn off, but after I've applied the change in the afternoon it turned on automatically. Please fix all those bugs, thanks!
