Update did not fix main dock app issue New update did not fix this issue! When I make the shortcut with my preferred icon; I CANNOT bring it down to my main bottom dock/apps. I'm on a Samsung S2. I really need this feature.

Doesn't work It doesn't works on my Sony xperia Morocco. It just says app isn't installed.

Didn't quite work for my purposes... The plugin successfully allowed me to create a home screen shortcut with my preferred icon. HOWEVER, I could not subsequently move that modified icon to the bottom dock on my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim -- which is what I really was trying to do. So far as I can tell, only apps that show up on the app grid can be docked, and this plugin does NOT change the icon of the app -- only of any shortcuts you make. So if you, like me, are hoping that this plugin will let you change the icon in your dock, you might come away disappointed. If any other Galaxy Proclaim owners out there figure out a way I'm wrong, please let me know!

Does what I wanted I wanted to keep the stock icons and this plug-in does exactly that. You can also use other icons but not what I was interested in.

Great on s3 But does not edit contacts on s3. But fastest dialer around. Good skins

Doesn't work... Whenever I click on the "shortcut" that this plugin creates on my home screen, nothing happens and I get a "App isn't installed" message... My phone is a Samsung Galaxy SII by the way.

3rd plugin

Requires Domate Description doesn't mention that Donate is required, so it's difficult to understand why this doesn't do anything after install. After donating, open it from 'Plugins' in the exDialer preferences. Otherwise it works great, perfectly compatible with the ICS dock (appears just like the stock icon, or whichever you choose). Worth the £1.99, just make the installation process clearer.
