The in app purchase option FreshMaps provides quarterly map updates for at least two years. The service uses trusted, field-verified, and quality-controlled map and points of interest updates from NAVTEQ® to make sure the NAVIGON app provides the most accurate and reliable directions possible. This saves you time and headaches on the road.
Note:
- Positioning your smartphone correctly in the vehicle is very important to ensure optimal GPS reception and for your own safety! Ensure that this is always positioned outside of the range of the airbags!
- NAVIGON is an on-board solution. This means that all map material, voice announcements and system files are saved on the telephone. Therefore no charges or waiting time for data transfer are incurred.
- The USA version requires approx. 1.2GB of free memory. Please ensure you have sufficient available mass-storage space (SD card). The map material must be downloaded after installing the app via wireless Internet on the smartphone. Please ensure a reliable and safe connection is available.
- On first startup a short data connection (ca. 25kB) is required to register your product

Need a major facelift Navigon needs a major facelift, needs to be updated to follow ICS design guidelines, like using the action bar, etc

Can't download to Galaxy Nexus it won't download to my Galaxy Nexus Unlocked GSM version from Google. Please fix it!

Good. Best GPS app ever. Works so well on my galaxy SII. The bad reviewers must have older phones. Works so well I sold my stand alone GPS. I'm a taxi driver so, I use this 15 to 20 times a day.

Audio sucks on my phone and no audio on my acer tablet After installing on my tablet I have no sound and the control feature for the phone I need to have my phone loud to hear the directions I should have bought sygic

Turn OFF my phone It does NOT force closing. However, it shuts down my phone... Galaxy Epic 4g Touch. ICS 4.0.3. Worst app ever purchased.

Navigon and contacts : Since the update, it does not show the correct location for phone contacts. Their tech support hasn't responded. Not sure how people could say it works perfectly when it can't navigate something that simple. Don't purchasebif you want a navigation program that can fully navigate.

No ICS?! I've had ICS since march with no support. Will change my rating if/when support available. Paid for this service and can't even use it. How is this good customer service?
