Description
The main and only source of criminal law, the only piece of legislation which establishes the crime and punishable in the Russian Federation. The current Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was adopted by the State Duma on 24 May 1996, the President signed June 13, 1996 and entered into force on 1 January 1997, replacing the RSFSR Criminal Code in 1960, used until then. Among the most significant changes can be called a sufficiently complete that it reflects the new economic and political realities of Russian society, the transition to a priority the protection of human rights and freedoms, rather than state interests, greater accountability for the most serious crimes and reduce liability for minor offenses committed by first time new grounds for exemption from criminal liability and other innovations designed to strengthen the preventive capacity of the criminal law. Significantly changed was special part: put about 70 new offenses, decriminalized, more than 80 compounds, previously provided the Criminal Code, in dispositions and sanctions of almost all articles that have passed out in the Code of the RSFSR Criminal Code was amended.This audiobook is in Russian.
