Description
Profile lets you manipulate your phone's volumes & settings all in one convenient place. You can also schedule profile changes, so your phone responds the way you want when you want it to. Profile also gives you the option to display a notification with the current profile, which provides quick access to be able to change any of your settings. Another quick way to change the active profile is through the use of the multiple widget options that Profile contains.One of the newer options allows you to set up both an SMS Auto-Reply and a Call Auto-Reply within your profile. You can choose whether you Auto-Reply to just people listed in your contacts, or to anyone, and you get to set your Auto-Reply message too.
Widgets available and their options:
- Profile (types: Single Tap, Set For ... Time, Set Indefinitely)
- Profile Multi (Displays list of profiles, you select)
- Profile Current (Displays current sounds/settings)
With the Profile Whitelist Addon (Separate Purchase) you can create profiles where you will only hear calls and texts from the people you really want to.

Useful, but fragile; and the UI needs improvement. Like others who just switched from BB to Android, I missed having an easy way to change profiles for ringers, etc. Profile lets me do that and then some. Its ability to toggle BT and WiFi, and to change profiles per docking state is powerful and useful. But it is fragile and crashes often on my SGH-T989 with 2.3.5. Luckily, it tends to first do what I asked, then crash. The widget is less crash-prone than the main app. Now that I know about PhoneWeaver, Llama, and Tasker, I still think Profile gives decent value.

To bad you can't give it less than 1 star. Paid for this app and the worthless white list add on. Contacts are constantly removed from the white list profiles and have to be re added to the white list. Even though they were never removed from my contacts. A week with no response from the developers. Thanks for taking my money.

Empowering .... I rate very, very few apps with 5 stars, but this gives just exactly the kind of control I was looking for from an Android.

Would be great if it didn't crash so often... As a former blackberry user, I too missed the easy to use profile interface. This program has the right ideas in terms of simplicity and some neat features, but I unfortunately had to uninstall it within hours of purchasing both this app and the whiltelist addon module. On my skyrocket, it started to crash repeatedly and the whitelist addon never worked. Program started to slow down and freeze when attempting to change settings, and then would suddenly crash. I have yet to hear back from the developer.....

Used it for years, can't live without it This app has done more to make every android phone I've owned work for me (rather than vice versa) than any other. I go out to the car in the morning --phone is already set up to stream audio to the car stereo via bluetooth. I get to work: phone silences(never been embarrassed by my phone at work!) itself, disables bluetooth and turns on wifi. And no other program I've bought has done more to update itself with meaningful and powerful feature updates. Favorite and best android app hands down.

Nice but hefty Changing my initial rating from 5 to 4 stars. Love this app but it slows down both my Galaxy S 1 and 2.
