OruxMaps works in two modes:
-online with multiple Maps.
-offline with calibrated maps for the application. You can convert your Ozi Explorer maps, or create your own maps, with a desktop tool.
Allows you record tracks using GPS. It works with gpx and kml formats.

Great concept but: maps too difficult to import (even orthos), doesn't save waypoints, doesn't download tiles for custom maps.

Love it. So many features. Take the time to figure it all out and u have 1 very powerful GPS app. No need to buy a garmin now!

Excellent app for offline mapping and imagery. Particularly useful for UK O.S. data from Multimap.

Used on droidx in the high peaks of the adirondacks. Worked great. My garmin couldn't keep track. I definitely contributed to this.

Great app, but track record stops unexpectedly. Pc map converter make bad calibrated maps (oziexplorer->oruxmap). Also try to calibrate manualy - fail

Such a cool app! It really works and allows you to use the saved maps offline with functional GPS! Brilliant!
