The following permissions are needed by Polkast for Android:
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and INTERNET: to detect network state and changes in order to provide the fastest connection to your computer
• CAMERA and RECORD_AUDIO: to allow you to capture photos or record videos from Polkast application and upload them to your computer
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, STATUS_BAR and VIBRATE: to download files to SD card and notify you when your downloads are completed
• READ_CONTACTS: to let you select email addresses from your address book when you share or send a file via Polkast
• READ_PHONE_STATE: to detect incoming calls and pause the Polkast music player

Wish it had I love the app, it's perfect. But I wish I was able to have video playback without having to download the video. If not over 3g or 4g at least on the connected computers wifi network, that would be the best feature ever.

Good app they gave me a free upgrade to pro because I was an early subscriber. 5 stars for that. Minus one star because now it keeps disconnecting and going offline after about a minute. - sidekick 4g
