Description
Chord! is a guitar chord finder. Unlike most of the other apps, it generates itself chords diagrams, so it supports any chord (even slash ones like D/F#) in any tuning, with any number of strings (guitar, banjo, ukulele, bass, mandolin, etc.).This is the free version with fully functional chord search, but only four scales instead of four hundred and five tunings, no reverse chord and scale search, no colors, no custom tunings database.
You can hear how each diagram sounds by sweeping your finger across the strings.
In the full version, you can also reverse search chords: Entering on a neck the fingering will give you instantaneously the possible names of the chord and you will then be able to explore possible variations.
The full version embeds a database with a hundred of tunings for various instruments and you can add you own ones. In this free version, there are only 5 tunings, for standard guitar, bass, banjo (4 str.) and ukulele. The full version of this database contains also four hundred scales that can be displayed or reverse searched in any tuning. In this free version, there are only four scales.
The app fully supports left handed instruments.
Note: Some Archos devices may no be able to reproduce sound.

Didn't find it useful I couldn't change tuning, being a heavy metal guitarist I play primarily in drop C tuning and they don't offer chords for anything but standard

Awesome The free version is great! But it would be perfect if it would save my "favorites" or "starred" chords and fingerings somewhere. :/ any chance that will happen?

Impressive app! Impressive! it´s a neat, clear and full of features app! Pro-level musician, but newbie’s can get also benefits too. The free version is obviously limited but still u can do a lot! I found it especially useful to harmonize the chord progression when using modal scales. The only feature that I did not find anywhere else. The only drag is that if you want to use it just to learn chords some can be not real musician chords but rather generated by algorithms so there is some crazy chords although I don’t care about theses chords having so many other features…this app is the one if you are a pro, especially the pay version!
