This app helps students learn to read sight words, the most common words in children's literature. It covers a few words from both the Fry's and Dolch reading lists. Kids learn to read words presented in context in fun videos. This helps learners understand the meaning of the words, which aids in reading comprehension.
After watching the videos to learn new sight words, learners can test themselves with a flash card quiz. The words are presented in a random order, so the quiz is different every time!

meh 2songs for an app? the idea is good but it needs more content. Will be kept on the phone as my kid likes it

That's It??? I could not believe that we got through the entirety of this app in less than 10 minutes. Two three minute videos and one six-word flash card "quiz." Six words? Really? It's really cute and well thought out, but six words? I'm scared to pay for the next version because if it is only six words, that would be a rip-off.

Love it! My 4 yr old had all these words down in a day. He loved it. Great teaching method. However that darn song is stuck in my head! LOL!

Great format for really learning the words - videos and songs plus a quiz so kids can check themselves. Sight Words 1.2 is out now!
