We are working to release a fix ASAP.This is the paid, FULL version (Thanks for supporting this & for leaving positive comments!), of the HappyCow App for finding compassionate eating options which include vegetarian, vegan, organic, raw food, and veg-friendly businesses.
The FULL version allows you to SAVE listings to your device for offline viewing when you don't have an Internet connection. You can now easily keep track of places you want to try eating at by saving them to your favorites list.
Find vegetarian, vegan, veg-friendly restaurants, health food stores, and other types of vegetarian business nearby your location, or enter a location manually. The app provides a list or map of vegan & vegetarian restaurants in 100+ countries. Additionally, find related businesses like vegan bakeries, vegan shops, veg B&B / hotel, veg catering services, vegan organization, farmers market, and other pure veg businesses. Offers over 50,000 quality reviews vegetarians and vegans you can trust.
Currently, maps/search the following areas are supported:
USA, Canada (and all North America), Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong, Japan (Tokyo), some of Malaysia, and Singapore. Other areas will work for showing details but map markers may not be placed correctly.

There are a few issues with some devices, especially Droid.
Most issues resolved by uninstalling, restarting your device, then re-installing.

Useful for vegetarians on the move Better than Where, Aloqa or Google Places Directory for vegetarian friendly places. Good USA coverage. UK OK. Would like to be able to submit reviews. Latest version of the app *still* (@eric) has a frustrating "feature" whereby it seems to need a satellite fix in order to use a location based search, so no longer works as expected indoors. I look forward to a fix.

No longer works on Nexus 7 or HTC Desire Worked great until last update now just says loading all the time. Please fix as was 5 star.

Bug fixed, new version @kermit, pls contact HC with details. @Mark & everyone- update just out! This version is a great improvement on the app. A couple small bugs remain to be fixed, but overall, excellent.

Wonderful app. I love the free version and wanted to buy it to support the app because its amazing and has saved me when I was traveling. Keep up the good work.

Review A option to change from miles to km would be great! Great app, makes finding vegan food out a lot easier! Cheers!
