Splashtop Whiteboard allows teachers and students to turn their Android tablet into an interactive white board. Once connected to their computer over Wifi, they can watch Flash media with fully synchronized video and audio, control PC and Mac applications then annotate lesson content all from an Android tablet. Splashtop Whiteboard offers users of existing interactive white boards (IWBs) - such as Mimeo, Mobi, Promethean, Polyvision, or Smart Technologies - a way to extend their investment by accessing their tools from anywhere in the class without using wireless slates. TEACHERS AND STUDENTS CAN:

Take snapshots of the screen and save them to the gallery then print or email the snapshots to students, parents or colleagues. Use different colored and sized pens, stamps, highlighter, shapes, lines, and text tools over existing content or Flipchart backgrounds. Everything you do is displayed on the projector connected to your PC or Mac! Use the digital flipchart tool to create pages with different backgrounds.
EXPERIENCE LIFELIKE PLAYBACK – All video and audio are played in high definition on your Android tablet, Play Adobe Flash content, iTunes music, DVDs, CDs, etc. as they were meant to be enjoyed.

Pure Awesomeness I was waiting for this to be released on Android, and the wait was worth it! Almost no lag when set up on the same network through a router. Easy to use/setup and I can now access my smart-board capabilities anywhere in the room! Combined with CM9 on the HP Touchpad, I have a $160 mobile interactive whiteboard. Can't be beat!

Wonderful! I purchased remote desktop for my classroom a few weeks ago. It was o.k. to use for the classroom. Splashtop Whiteboard is fantastic to use in the classroom. A few other teachers at my school spend $500.00 each for a Mobi View. This app turns my tablet that I already have for my classroom into an interactive Whiteboard Slate. With a product like the Mobi view it is hard to see where you are writing. With this app, I can see where I'm writing right on the tablet. At $10.00 it is priced way below the slates that are sold for classroom use! I found setting it up to be very easy and I'm over 40 by a few years.... Great job on the app!

Impressive Splashtop has released a very stable whiteboard app for Android, and it's the only app that will give you these features in one package. It quickly discovers PCs on the network over WiFi and I did not witness any input lag at all using a Xoom tablet. Animations could be smoother when drawing on the screen, but aside from that, I have no complaints. It's a great product, and it's about time a whiteboard app is made available for Android! Thank you, Splashtop!

Excellent concept.....too much lag Love the concept, but the lag when writing on a smartboard is just WAY TOO MUCH for me. Uninstalled and refund request sent.
