The app's user-friendly design makes calculations fast and easy. Each function can be selected from a plain English list, and the app prompts the user for information as it goes. Plus, entries are saved from previous calculations, so there's no need to re-enter data. Calculating weight and balance is especially easy, with a dedicated page for adding new passengers, fuel or baggage.
Sporty's E6B app makes quick work of navigational, weight and balance, or fuel problems, and is a favorite of student pilots. But it also includes a number of features that are useful for experienced pilots, like Top of Descent, Specific Range and Planned Mach #.
The timer can be set to count up or count down, so it is perfect for timing approaches, holds or switching fuel tanks. There is also a clock function that shows Home, Local and Zulu time.

Great app! I love this app! I do recommend adding a favorites list for our most used functions and conversions.

2.0.1 Finally looks good on a Kindle Fire While there could still be some improvements (like larger buttons and fonts), version 2.0.1 finally formats correctly on the 7 inch screen of the Kindle Fire. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Good app but not for a tablet! This product is professional grade and well made but is in need of updating or a tablet version. Being that it was developed for a Smartphone, you are forced to be in portrait mode and the fonts are large and fuzzy as it is zoomed to fit 10.1 inch screens. Annoying and I hope Sporty's addresses this soon. Andriod tablets are selling like hot cakes. Update! This has now been updated for tablets and is now Great!

Screen size I have owned 2 of Sporty's electronic E6B's over many years great product. Scale this to full screen on droid razor and I'll go 5 stars
