Description

AndroidSocial is the very latest Facebook App designed specifically for Android Tablets running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) or higher!

Currently available as a Beta release, you can post to your wall, your friend's walls as well as comment and like other postings. View your News Feed, Friend List, Events, and posted links and images too.

Supports both landscape and portrait orientations!

Works This is no facedroid but it is the best free tablet Facebook app. If you don't want to pay for an app this is the one for you

Missing a lot of features This is a good app for really basic status updates. My biggest gripe is that the links that friends post, as well as location check in are VERY difficult to read. It's a blue link on a blue background. There is also no ability to use the chat function. Also, when looking at events, you are missing a lot of the ability to see who/how many people are attending. I think that the ability to see all the features currently on the facebook website should be incorporated. This app is missing a lot IMO.

The application has access to the following:

Network communication

full Internet access

Allows an application to create network sockets.

view network state

Allows an application to view the state of all networks.

Your location

coarse (network-based) location

Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate phone location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.

Storage

modify/delete SD card contents

Allows an application to write to the SD card.

Phone calls

read phone state and identity

Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to, ect.
