DescriptionThink Munich is a city reserved for beer drinkers and Oktoberfest partiers? Think again.
Munich sits at the center of Germany's best fairy tale castles. Half a dozen art museums display Europe's finest works, from medieval religious frescoes to the largest Andy Warhol collection outside the US and the world's edgiest contemporary pieces. Locals spend hours chatting over coffee in art deco cafes and dining on local produce at Asian-influenced bistros. And if it's beer halls and Oktoberfest that have you planning a visit to Munich? Not to worry. Munich Discovered includes them, too.
