Radar Alive! brings live US weather radar to your Android from all states and Puerto Rico. It features a powerful, flexible user interface. Watch tornadoes, hurricanes and other weather events live and in fine detail. Easily switch to the nearest radar with a tap on the map,Radar Alive! is suitable for storm chasers, professional meteorologists, emergency personnel, SKYWARN and weather enthusiasts. It has the widest selection of US radar products (image types) of any Android App. NWS severe weather warnings are displayed along with a customizable low clutter map with cities, roads, counties and states.
Unlike many radar apps, Radar Alive! generates precision images from NEXRAD Level III binary data. With its velocity images, you can even spot storms with tornadoes.
You can choose from a wide variety of radar products at multiple tilt angles, including composite and base reflectivity,
base and storm relative velocity, VIL, hydrometeor classification (what kind of precipitation) and others. Carefully simplified maps minimize screen clutter on the radar display.
The serious user will appreciate advanced features, such as controllable smart GPS usage to conserve battery power,
one tap or long press to select the nearest radar, maps optimized for weather radar, and more.

Not working. What is Error-Hi. The only thing that appears on my screen is a black.background with a centered white circle that has red in the middle. The "radar" is just some yellow squiggly connected lines... Dl samples didnt wori

Great App I think adding the ability to filter the dbz level would be a great addition.

Awesome, works perfect! Best app on the market, "it works perfectly and has intelligent features". I was comparing the data samples against PYKL3 Radar & Radar Scope. Radar Alive was between 4 & 6 minutes more up to date. In fact the data I was getting was only 4 to 6 minutes old as to the other programs being 8 to 12 minutes old. Also, when you pause a storm animation it takes you to the latest update time, this is a very nice feature because from there you can see how far out the storm is...

Red I'd like it a ton more if it had a higher resolution on zoom
