An app to ease planning of Anesthesia!All calculations made by AneIV Lite are to be concidered as a guidance. Calcualtions shall always be verified by user.
AneIV Lite is an application created to ease planning of an anesthesia for a patient. The user supply gender, age, weight and height and AneIV will calculate Ideal Body Weight(IBW) and Adjusted Body Weight(ABW) for adults and estimated weight for children between 1 - 10 years of age.
Ane IV Lite also calculates airwayequipment to prepare aswell as normal vitalsigns based upon age.
AneIV Lite has a list of medications and will calculate doses based on weight. What weight to use, actual weight, IBW or ABW, is up to the user to decide. If the user has ongoing infusions, AneIV Lite can calculate does (mg/ mcg/ ncg)/ kg / hour or minute for a given medication.
AneIV Lite has some limitations compared to the full version of AneIV. In this Lite-version, the device has to be connected to internet in order to fully function. If no internetconnection exists, the user will only be presented the first window where gender, age, weight and height are specified. The user will get the formentioned weigts calculated and have access to Emergency-calculations. AneIV Lite has adds. AneIV Lite also has limitations when it comes to number of infusions that can be active at once. The number is 1 - one. When it comes to favorites, AneIV Lite has a limit of four favoirtes including one indusion. This means the user of AneIV Lite has the possibility to calculated two infusions, but need to change between tabs inorder to do so.
