Description
This niche application for Church Bell ringers allows the user to take details of every Tower set for full circle ringing everywhere they go via their Android device.Including all the usual Tower details a ringer would expect to see within Dove's Guide, including bells, weight, note and dedication, the user is also able to see the location of the Tower on Google Maps and obtain driving instructions from their current location, plus all neighbouring towers.
Additional Tower information can be viewed when the app is viewed in landscape mode, such as Practice Night days and times, web links and whether the ringing chamber is on the Ground Floor.
This application is a mobile Dove's Guide.
Using the 'My Towers' feature of the app, the user can mark if they have rung at a Tower, whether they have rung a Quarter Peal, a Full Peal, when they visited the Tower and other personal notes.
