Sky recorder is a great looking android application that helps you record audio on your smartphone. Not only does it help you record audio, but it makes it incredibly easy to automatically share and backup your audio recordings on dropbox, thank to its in-built dropbox sync ability.
So the next time you want to record a meeting and share it with your colleagues across the globe or you record a lecture and share it with your friends, just record the event and sky recorder will take care of the rest.
Sky recorder puts the foucs on a great minimalistic UI, great recording quality and the ability to effortlessly share your recordings with your circle.
*Here is a list of the permissions we use and why we use them:*
RECORD AUDIO - to be able to record audio :)
FULL INTERNET ACCESS - to be able to sync your recordings with the cloud (dropbox)
MODIFY/DELETE USB STORAGE CONTENTS MODIFY/DELETE SD CARD CONTENTS - to be able to save your audio clips to the SD card
VIEW NETWORK STATE - to be able to sync the audio-clips with the cloud based on your network preferences (3G, 4G), for example some users might want to sync as soon as 3g is available, this permission is used to detect that
VIEW WI-FI STATE - to be able to sync the audio-clips with the cloud based on your wifi preferences, for example some users might want to sync as soon as wifi is available, this permission is used to detect that
AUTOMATICALLY START AT BOOT - if sync is enabled, sky recorder will sync with the cloud at the top of every hour, this periodic sync must be re-initiated every time the device is rebooted. (This permission *does not* mean that it starts recording at every boot, just that the periodic sync is re-initiated)
