ClickToPhone enables a person with a disability to control Android smart phones and tablet devices by using an external switch, joystick or by touching anywhere on the screen. The switch or joystick connects to the phone using an external bluetooth interface. The software enables control over the phone’s functions through a rich graphical interface and sophisticated scanning options. Word prediction, Next Word and Quick Texts are included in the keyboard grids to speed up the typing process.ClickToPhone Features:

Installation:
This application is an alternative soft-keyboard and will not run automatically. To run ClickToPhone choose Settings, then Language & Keyboard and then enable ClickToPhone. After you have done this change the current Input Method to ClickToPhone. You can also make a shortcut to ClickToPhone by pressing on the home screen and then choosing ShortCuts. To disable ClickToPhone choose Settings from the ClickToPhone menu and then another Input Method or disable it in the phones Language & Keyboard settings.
You can run ClickToPhone in stand alone mode to evaluate it's performance. You can test the scanning techniques by enabling the Tap the screen preference under Settings. To use ClickToPhone with an external switch or from your wheelchair you will need to purchase either a ClickToPhone or HouseMate bluetooth interface.
