Description
Writepad is made specifically for stylus handwriting on a tablet. Useful for math and science classes where typing isn't an option!Requires Android 3.0+ tablet. Tested on Motorola Xoom and Asus Transformer. Make sure you have a stylus that works on your tablet first - these should have a soft rubber tip.
Galaxy 10.1 owners: You must have root on your device and use TouchScreenTune (free app that fixes your touch screen sensitivity). Otherwise the writing will lag.

Features:
Smooth writing experience: no lag and no jitter between the stylus movement and the screen response.
Smart palm detection. Only records the writing from your stylus, not your hand.
Export page and notebook: share the page as PNG file to any app (such as Evernote). Export the whole notebook as a zip file or PDF file.
Paper type: comes with four familiar paper types.
Stylus calibration: Instead of drawing where the stylus touches the screen, it will draw where you *think* the stylus tip is. Good for those thicker tip styluses.
Create and manage multiple notebooks. Just tap the icon in the upper left corner.
New features:
* Flip view. Are you accidentally hitting the android system menu all the time? I am. Now you can flip the tablet over!
* Custom pen color / size / transparency.
* Lasso erase. Draw a closed path to erase everything inside it.
* Full Zoom: hold the zoom button enables pinch zooming to any magnification.
* Typing mode. Click the T icon to start typing. Click again to go back to writing mode.
* Import images from SD card.
* Import from web. Use the mini browser to go to the site you want, then hit OK to import it to your page. Then you can draw on it.
* Auto-scroll button. Located above the zoom button - this will automatically scroll from left to right, and then to the next line.

Very Good Works well on my Xoom... Would like export function and optional OCR would be a great step. Can be a little slow at times and times the lines drawn disappear when the next is drawn. overall very good app

Super App! @ Johnathan - if you go into the settings of this app, you can fine tune it so that if your palm *does* touch the screen, it will not leave a mark on the notepad :) ++++++ Excellent App! Just what I have been looking for, and it it so much better than the generic pad app at comes with my HTC Flyer. Well worth paying for :D

Great but steep learning curve Greatest pinch to zoom (because it can zoom to any magnification) and moving in zoom mode button. But I did not realize those features until after using it for half an hour. I am still trying to figure out how to use eraser in lasso mode to erase stuff in an area. Other than that it is best for writing detection and calibrating stylus. Beginner tutorial is needed if app developer wants this app with better rating.

Great App! I use this app along with 7notes and Adonit Jot Mini. What an awesome combination! I can hand write notes and have 7 notes translate that to actual text and with Handwrite I can then draw as Well! Nice job!

Great app! Needs ocr By far the best note taking application I have found for my HTC flyer. I have tried them all! The only thing that's missing is orc (optical character recognition) to transcribe your handwriting into text. If it had that, this app would be perfect!

Great! but palm rejection could be better. This is great I have used it in class, works well, except sometimes I start writing and nothing appears, only a few dots. I don't think that it is a problem with my device, because I have an Asus eee pad slider. Fix this one issue if possibe then I will rate 5*'s and recommend to everyone! Still works very well!
