McAfee WaveSecure Uninstall Protection Add-on (UPA) provides additional security and locks your phone when it detects that McAfee WaveSecure is removed. If you uninstall UPA, McAfee WaveSecure will lock the phone to secure it too.IMPORTANT:
McAfee WaveSecure UPA does not work by itself and must be used in conjunction with McAfee WaveSecure. You need to install McAfee WaveSecure first.
If you have an Android 2.2 (Froyo) or newer device, there is no need to install this add-on. You can assign WaveSecure as a device administrator to prevent the app from being uninstalled.

Liars! I have transferred my free lifetime subscription from phone to phone for a number of years now. McAfee said they would honor them when they bought the company. Now they're renigging on the deal.
