* Wi-Fi network: Your device and computer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi (wireless) network, or your computer must have a wireless card.
APPLICATION PERMISSIONS:
Network communication:
[Market license check] This is pretty self-explanatory.
[Full Internet access, view network state, view Wi-Fi state] These are all needed for the sync functionality, so we can read the device's IP address, check for connectivity, and talk to the Desktop app during the sync process.
Phone calls:
[Read phone state and identity] We use the device's ID as part of the encryption process when communicating with the Android Market to verify the license status. This is recommended by Google.
System tools:
[Automatically start at boot] This is so we can display the notification of unsynced transactions in the status bar when the phone boots up. The app doesn't leave any code running in the background all the time; this is a simple check on startup to display the notification, and then it shuts down again.

Great App LOVE this app, works great for my husband and me to keep quick track while on the go and sync up when we get home! If you don't have YNAB, you really need to check it out. Also, if you do have a problem the support team is wonderful and quick to respond and help.

Awesome for effectively a beta app! I think a lot of the more recent reviews criticizing the lack of certain features (splits, cloud sync, editability) don't know our have forgotten that YNAB asked the user community if we wanted a partially-featured app sooner, or if we wanted them to wait and release a "perfect" app... We said in no uncertain terms that we would rather have an app without splits or cloud sync as long as those would be free updates. We got exactly what we asked for, and I for one am THRILLED with it!

Very buggy, should be free Update: Stable after update thanks! This companion app is very buggy. I have a Galaxy nexus ICS 4.0.2 (stock not rooted) 1.)When adding a transaction and changing the account the app will either freeze or half the screen will go white. Hitting back returns you to the main screen 2.) Syncing over wifi failure rate is too high roughly 70%. Syncing from mobile can also result in duplicate transactions being imported to the desktop

The best This app helped me big time on my finance it takes a little learning curve but worth it trust me it will save u a lot of money living with a budget, would be 6stars if there are cloud syncing Evo 3d!

Nice Need to be able to Mark transactions as cleared on the app after being entered. I check my bank accounts on my way to work and it would be a great way to do reconciliation.

Very good, needs added functionality I would like to have the ability to edit/delete older transactions on the app, instead of just on the desktop platform. That would get a fifth star from me. If you could also sync without having to go to the sync screen on the app, that would be a bonus! All other funcions are excellent. Thanks for a good app!
