Squeeze Commander

Absolutely the best for controlling Squeeze boxes I am sure I rated this when I first used it but correcting that now. This is absolutely the best for remoting my media units. It controls my Squeezebox Boom and Sqeezeplayer on my main media PC. It will also sync play on both units for all around the villa. Support is also excellent as its from a fellow XDA guy. Btw, volume on each selected unit is either from a touch at the bottom of the screen or simply use the hardware volume buttons on your Android device. DOH! to the people who don't RTFM!

Much more powerful than Logitech app This app is awesome. You can make playlists containing music from multiple source (eg music server ans spotify). Search is fast. Album art beautiful. You can edit playlists directly and reorder them! Read the website to get a handle on the non intuitive UI. The key is "now playing" vs "browse". Takes 15minutes to get it but once you do this app is well worth it. Kudos to the dev!

Great could be awesome When I realized you can copy songs directly to Android as in download I really started to love it. Should be able to download playlists and folder content. The GUI should perhaps be more intuitive like Sonos but that has always.been the cons of the Squeezebox vs Sonos in general. Nice work but could easily become awesome.

Easy Peazy Lemon Squeezy Installed this along with SqueezePlayer, works very well. I particularly like the auto mute/volume down feature & the UI (now I’ve discovered all the hidden features), the ease at synchronising player.The track downloading looks simple enough, however not managed to get anything downloaded yet. One minor improvement would be to make the widget GUI a bit flasher, (ie SqueezePlayer)

Worst UI I've seen for a long time.. Horrible UI. Using it is guess work. It works but free logitech app is simpler and no less functional. No updates for a long time either.

Great app with space for improvements I really love this app to control my good old SB3. There are merely a few improvements or features that would make it even greater: - On top of my list would be the option to add/enqueue songs to the existing playlist rather than playing them immediately, replacing the entire playlist. This would be amazing especially during parties, so folks can add their songs without ruining everybody else's selection. - The function to save the current playlist and be able to load it later. - A bigger/better volume control would also be great.

Unintuitive at first but beats Logitech app The interface could be more user friendly, but it looks good. Once you're familiar with the navigation it's really an excellent remote for the squeezebox. Way better than the Logitech app and IMO worth paying for.
