Description
Use your phone or your 3G modem stick with your Android device's USB host for Internet access - even if it is Wifi-only.Requirements - READ BEFORE COMPLAINING:
- Needs root access (with "Superuser" or "SuperSU" app)
- Needs USB host
- Needs a powered USB hub (unless your device has plenty of power)
- Some devices (e.g. Samsung) need additional kernel drivers
- Your modem must provide serial ports and use the standard PPP protocol
This app is free. No ads. No data gathering.
Warning: there is no guarantee that every Android/modem combo will work. Don't blame me!

Details:
This widget is a frontend for the PPP daemon which enables Internet access over almost any USB device with modem capabilities, including mobile phones.
For 3G sticks, the usb_modeswitch tool is included to bring them into modem mode, in most cases fully automatic.
Even if this app needs root access for device preparation and building the connection, it does NOT alter any system files!

Works for me Thank you for this wonderful app. Been using since 0.9x version, mostly work although sometimes i have to add some extra cfg. I have a request for next version, please add option to never disconnect from sleep

Brilliant Thanks for sharing. Works great on Nexus 7 Wish availability of saving APNs and if its possible send and receive text. :-)

Very good app I used its previous version also, this helped me connecting with different usb modems with different service providers. But i was unableto connect with tata photon plus on funbook that is a 3g cdma stick, please solve this problem.

Thanks! Does what it says and thus making it real hard to replace my Iconia A500 with a newer tablet that may not have a usb port. :)
