PERMISSIONS:
• READ CONTACT DATA
If you have any guests (or attendees) on an event and you have that person in your contacts the app will read information from that contact and show it when viewing an event. The contact picture will show up and then clicked will take you to the default "contact clicked" scenario. I know this permission looks bad together with internet access but I do not store nor send any contact info. Only contacts that are guests to viewed events are read by the program.
• READ CALENDAR EVENTS
This should be obvious. Read the description again and see if you can spot what this is used for ;)
• ADD OR MODIFY CALENDAR EVENTS AND SEND EMAIL TO GUESTS
Again, this should be obvious. Calendar Droid needs to change your calendar events. Sending emails to guests is done when putting email addresses in the "guest" box when creating an event.
• WAKE LOCK
Used by the widget. This actually saves battery since the widget does not wake up the phone when it has the screen off. The wake lock is only used to keep the phone alive during updates. The update interval is controller by "alarms".
• READ SYNC SETTINGS
Use to read which calendars that are synchronized to the device.
• GET ACCOUNTS
Used to find accounts with calendars so they can be selected to be synchronized.
• MANAGE ACCOUNTS
Used to manage the synchronize settings for calendars under a account.

Nice 5 stars after colors on Jelly Bean fixed and multi day events on month view are shown in chain not on each day.

Bugs and developer's account closed One star until these are addressed. Feedback can't be given because the developer email has been shut down. Cannot refund despite being with 15 minutes. Bugs on Jelly Bean make certain events unreadable but cannot leave the developer feedback. App has promise but show stopper bugs kill it.

Beautiful and best The only missing feature is a widget. I simulate it by minimalist text widget with next calendar events launching the calendar on click

Bugs I love the look of this but none of the settings will save. I want it to open to daily view but have to change it every time. Tried to email but email is invalid.

Attractive Interface (but not widget makes me sad) I love the clean look of this interface and it does all of the things I expect a calendar to do and I can find everything where I expect it to be. BUT it makes me sad that there is no widget option that would make this app perfect.

Fab I have been looking for a good replacement for my palm desktop. The standard calender is poor but using it via the viewer is exactly what i wanted.
