Important Notice! This application is for managing a movie collection library. You can not download or watch movies with it.My Movies for Android allows you to catalog your entire movie collection library from our high quality online data service containing data for more than 725,000 DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD titles from various countries. If you have one or more titles that is not in our service, you can report it and it will be created within 48 hours by our staff - a service you will not find elsewhere.
The application is optimized for both phones and tablets, including a full Honeycomb tablet interface.
You can evaluate the full application, by downloading My Movies for Android Free, which is a freely available identical version with the exception of being limited to 50 titles, and only 10 items in release and trailer lists.
You can use My Movies for Android as a standalone product, or use it as a companion to our My Movies software packages for Mac OS X or Windows, allowing you to keep your movie collection synchronized between clients.
My Movies for Android requires you to create a user account, or log on to an existing My Movies account to be able to use the program. Your collection will follow your user account through our online servers, allowing you to switch between different clients without ever losing your data - we have clients available for Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac OS X and Windows. If you log in to an existing My Movies account, your current collection will automatically be synchronized to your phone.
You can within the program activate an online collection website of your movie collection, allowing you to send friends and family a website that allows them to browse your entire collection.
With My Movies for Android, you can keep track of movies you own, previously have owned, rented or movies you wish to purchase. Never again will you have to purchase or rent a movie twice.

Great Piece of Software I've been a My Movies customer since 2010 (When I finally paid for the full WHS Suite) and to see what the application suite has become is amazing. Can't really find bad things about the software. I enjoy being able to open the app and check on an actor/ist or some point of the movie on the spot. I can carry all 700 films with me at any time just by downloading them. Keep up the good work.

SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATING I bought this app based on the excellent ratings. I downloaded it and first found that it did not work right out of the box. After a lot of reading and tweaking, it still did not work. I could scan my DVDs, add the movie, then when I went to look at it in the collection, it was not there. No movies I added were actually added. It would just inform me that I needed to synchronize, and then poof , gone. I finally found a not very well marked conversation that said that I needed to uninstall it, delete the folder off the phone, then re install it. After the 2nd try it finally worked. I spent the next couple of hours scanning my discs. I had no problem with this as this is part of the process of making a collection. What I DO NOT LIKE, is working with it tonight and the whole library going away. No mater what I do, I can not keep titles in my collection. When I spend $6 on an app, I expect it to work. Even if just a little bit. I really want my money back. I do not trust it and do not want to spend one more minute trying to figure out how to make it sort of work. It should work without so many work arounds.

Great! I logged about a third (over 425) of our movies today. Super fast and responsive, it didn't take long at all. Wish I'd bought this sooner - this is so much easier than a spreadsheet. This is the best!

Love it, but it could be more. I absolutely love this app. I tried the free version and it wouldn't sync. So, I figured I'd give the pro version a shot. Then if it didn't work get a refund. There have been no problems with the pro version. The only thing I wish this app would do that my other media app did, is catalog other types of media. Such as, video games, music, books, board games, etc. I know this is a movie catalog app and thus shouldn't be judged on cataloging other media, but this would be a dream app if it did.

What I have been looking for. It handles it all, actors, directors, time, year, etc. Worth the money. Easy to use. Try it and buy it. I have over 1600 movies and this app handles them and makes collecting fun again. You can look up anything anywhere. Never have to stand in the return line for buying a movie twice. Only found very minor problems which were fixed in hours.

Awesome app!!! Great app, allows me to keep track of my movie collection, which is esp. helpful if I am buying new movies, so I don't buy repeats. Only thing is I wish that the "wish list" was kept separate from the list of movie you have. But I'm still giving this 5 stars. Now they just need a videogame app!
