GigBeat helps you never miss another concert by your favorite artist in your town!GigBeat scans your device's music library, shows you when your favorite artists are on tour and where they will be. Don't have any music stored on your device? That's not a problem, GigBeat offers support for Songkick, Last.fm and Rdio accounts so users can login and sync their artists from these services!
GigBeat will also remind you when a concert you've starred is coming up, or notify you when it finds new tour dates in your area for artists you are tracking.
GigBeat is currently fully supported on Android phones running version 2.1 or higher and is compatible with Honeycomb tablets, but a more polished version for tablets is coming very soon.

Seems like a great app, bugs badly need ironing out This app seems great; it looks gorgeous, the interface makes sense, it supports last.fm. Problem is, I can't do anything. Selecting most options forces a close and a lot of bits won't update. I get the feeling this has recently been given an overhaul and these bugs still need ironing out. Hope you can get it done soon, this app otherwise is perfect! Oh, 1 more thing though: Lincoln, UK for some reason isn't available in the 'cities' bit of the 'location' menu.

Notifications I get annoying notifications telling me that my artists are coming to my town, but when I check the dates, they actually aren't coming to my town after all. A quick check on their official website proves that. I wish there was a way to turn off that notification because it is annoying. Other than that, it is a decent app. But I think songkick is better.

Meh Nice functions, but the app is extremely slow and could use a more logical/intuitive UI.

Can't disable notifications Cool service, but the notification settings don't work. This app creates a lot of notification bar spam, and makes me wonder (every day, as I'm dismissing the notifications I've already attempted to turn off in the app) if I wouldn't just be better off without it.

Genre & Similar Artist Search Please Love it. Great for notification of new concerts. Search options by genre & venue are limited.

Problems on nexus 10 Guys, I love your app, but please fix bugs on Nexus 10. There are a lot of crashes.

Great app but... This app looks awesome and does everything you could want BUT it runs quite glitchy on my GS3. Lists do not scroll smoothly and some transitions hang up the UI for several seconds at a time. Fix for a 5er.

Forcing close... on tablet Great app, but can't do much as it now force-closes every time I select a gig. It worked well with Honeycomb, so I assume it's ICS. Please update. Using Galaxy Tab 10.1
