Description
Prank or scare anyone who tries to move your mobile device. Get alarmed when somebody messes with your phone.Jolt uses the accelerometer of your phone to detect motion and plays an alarm or funny sound instantly or after a sort delay.
★ Features ★
✓ Many sounds to choose from (siren, car alarm, scream, farts, burp and more)
✓ Choose any sound from sd card (requires a 3rd party file manager like ASTRO, OI File Manager, ES File Explorer etc)
✓ Adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector
✓ Choose the delay between movement and sound
✓ Vibrating during playback
✓ Detect motion even when device is in stand-by mode (*)
✓ ...
(*) Exclude jolt from task killers. A few phones may not work in sleep mode due to a known android bug.
★ Ideas ★
1. Sneakily activate Jolt in your friends' phones , choose scream sound and watch their reaction when they pick it up.
2. Activate Jolt on your phone with an alarm sound and password protect your lock screen. You will know for sure when someone tries to take it
3. Activate Jolt with a delay and a fart sound. Ask someone to bring it back to you. He will get sooo embarassed!
4. Activate Jolt without delay and annoy everybody by simply shaking your phone

@Jason: Password protection is not going to be be implemented as it will only give you an illusion of safety. Anyone could just turn off the volume or shutdown your phone. The best solution is to password protect your lock screen.
@Armando, @dionisus, @jasand: There is a combination of hardware - android version, that on a few devices turns off accelerometer when the screen goes off. Please check latest version >1.4.0.

No longer works with Gb Once you update the OS to Gingerbread it no longer senses movements in sleep mode on a Next. Otherwise, great & clever app.

Fun prank! Haha so my class gets its bathroom break and I go into a stall. I use the smoke detector alarm on jolt and everyone is confused about what that noise is. Really fun app, also useful for security

Almost there!!!! This is an exellent app for pranks or as a security app, the only thing that needs to be added is a lock device option, that would push it to supurb and it would get my 5 star rating, but why stop there. Go all out and add a gps locater, call it Jolt pro, and charge a small fee for it. Its still a must have app, I love the smoke detecter!!

LOVE IT!!!! works like a charm. I use robbery sound setting, sensitivity 72, and 6 second delay so tamperers have no excuse! Edit: hey moron, why do you complain about no password? The activation delay is there to give you time to lock your phone.
