Description
Swaras is an app which generates Carnatic (South Indian classical) music phrases (without gamakams/oscillations) for different ragas (scales).- Each tune is randomly generated, based on existing compositions and traditional phrases in that raga.
- Unique phrases which closely follow the character of the raga are generated using a predictive pattern matching algorithm.
- Numbers for Melakarta ragas are indicated.

Interesting, and could be useful... This app proves to yield some interesting results, particularly in pentatonic ragas. It would be more useful if it would also work in multiple different talas, nadais, gatis, etc. instead of a fixed pace for a given time. More importantly, I wish it showed notation for what it generated. that would lend nicely to some analysis and further study.

Cannot move to SD card This is a large app and the inability to move it to the SD card is very annoying. I have no idea why the app wants to hog memory instead of staying on the SD card. Poor design. Uninstalled.

Disappointing. The aro/avaro is the only thing I find useful. And ever heard of something called gamakam?
