Description
Make the globe below you transparent and see in which directions the continents and many known cities are positioned – from your current location. Glaserde transforms your device into an X-ray apparatus which can look through the world below you. It’s an augmented reality app: The 3D view simulates the reality at your current position – not the view from far outside. You can swing your device around to look in any direction.Additional goodies:
• See where is currently day and night
• Let you lead to a city you are interested in
• Make a voyage to another place in the world and see look around there
• See the universe around the earth

Relative perpective Yay, i was hoping to find a different app like this :) Pros: *Gives you better idea of where countries actually are. *Seems to have potential to make more sense than a 2D map. Cons: *Runs a little slow with continent feature switched on. Dev suggestions: *Smoother animation, different colors for land masses for identification. *Maybe an option like 'front face culling %' to remove the horizon clutter etc.
