Description
LibriVox Downloader conveniently downloads free audio books from the LibriVox collection, which can then be played in a suitable audio player. MortPlayer Audio Book is recommended.This app is my Christmas gift for my wife.
The books are by default downloaded to the LibriVox folder on your SD card / external storage. You should set MortPlayer Audio Book to use that folder as its main folder, or use the Options in LibriVox Downloader to select a different folder for it to download to.

- search by title or author
- choose between ogg and mp3
- download cover art

NOTE 1: I recommend downloading audio books only via WiFi. These are very large downloads, about 350 mb or so each.
NOTE 2: I've had one user report that ogg downloads work better than mp3 ones. I am investigating.

Files didn't play Just tried it with Great Expectations. I did the search on the app page, then it took a long time to download, which was fine. Then when I tried to play it, it said it couldn't play that format. Presumably, I would have thought that it would play the files itself finds.

I concur, a good start As addamaccada said. This needs the ability to download in the background.

A good start needs the ability to download files in the background as clicking away from the app cancels the download

Thank you This app is awesome! It works great for me, and I really like that it grabs a title screen for the audiobooks.

Fails to download Nice search interface, but rathet crucially, the app fails to download audiobooks. It freezes with a "fetching audio" message.
