Intermittently works on HTC desire Android 2.2.2 Using GPSD in Backtrack 5 R2 with commands gpsd -N -n -D 3 /dev/rfcomm0 The majority of attempts fail on initial pairing/configuration of Bluetooth serial port etc. gpsd fails to pull any GPS data from phone time and time again even though all connections seem to solid on both devices. I have found a work around that seems to consistently work. 1. Switch off handset wifi 2. Restart handset Bluetooth 3. Restart handset (reboot) 4. Then start handset wifi then stop handset wifi 5. Establish your Bluetooth connection as normal 6. Open bluenmea 7. Establish Serial Bluetooth rfcomm0 connection 8. Run gpsd -N -n -D 3 /dev/rfcomm0 9. GPS over Bluetooth should now come flooding though For some reason having wifi enabled dramatically affects the quality of the Bluetooth signal. I hope someone find’s this information useful.

Doesn't work with behold 2, but I doubt that's the apps fault.
