Description
Tape-a-Talk Pro is a high quality voice recorder designed for simplicity and is able to record voice notes/voice memos/audio even when the display is off.ADDITIONAL features of this PRO version compared to the free version:
- Sort Recordings by Name (Ascending, Descending)
- Dark or Light Interface Theme
- Nicer interface and "big buttons"-mode
- Choose custom storage directory.

Before buying, try the ad supported version called "Tape-a-Talk Voice Recorder" (it has much less features but you can check whether recording works for your phone). You are responsible for checking whether the app will work on your phone or not (by testing the free version), otherwise you possibly spend your money and find out it does not work.
PERMISSIONS NEEDED:
Other than the obvious ones, this app needs the permission to read the phone state for recognizing incoming calls and stopping the playback of files during an incoming call.

Playback needs a fix.. This app works great for recording but playback is frustrating. Recording a two hour lecture but when I play it back, it just randomly starts from the beginning and I have to waste time searching through to find my place. Also any time I have to turn on the screen to pause it starts from the beginning. I hope there is a fix.

Average Quality is very good. However the recordings are very often corrupted and won't play. I got very very very frustrated at times with this app. I am sure the developer knows about this and should solve it asap. In galaxy nexus with paid version.

Very pleased ... I've been using this recorder for a few weeks now and I must say that it really is very good indeed. On my phone which is a Motorola Defy it has worked perfectly. I like the ease of use..the high quality recording setting..and the playback is first rate too. This is not the first recorder I've tried....this one however will be staying on my phone unlike the others...!!...

Great in theory, not in practice Majority of my recordings are corrupt and never play even after "repairing" them. Running on my Xoom running ICS.

works well on my motorolla atrix phone. The benefits I found in this paid version over the free one are that I can choose my external SDcard for saving files and the big buttons along with the widget in that you can run the program without having to open it. As for the no-add feature, it wasn't bothering me in the free version. Anyways, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Super easy to use - definitely worth the money. I needed a voice recording app to use at work to take notes, make reminders, and for general "CMA" voice recordings. This one worked the best and cost less, too. A bonus is that it can record in standard .wav format. I can transfer the file to my computer and use my Dragon NaturallySpeaking program to transcribe what I dictated. No more having to find another PC program to convert my audio files!

Recorder Love love love this app....traveling musician has great idea for a song...cant pull over because I'm on my way to a gig, but I can push a quick button and sing into my phone before I forget it or life happens...and not only that...email it to myself, just in case my phone dies....I use it all the time and send a chorus here a verse there..
