This app *REQUIRES* a kernel with BLN mod.== What is the BLN mod? ==
The BLN mod turns the touchkey backlights into a notification led.
It enables any android application to use the touchkey backlights of your phone as a notification led.
== What does this app? ==
This application gives you control over the settings of the BacklightNotification modification (bln mod) on your phone and some additional functionality.
If the BLN mod is not yet installed on your phone, then the app can refer you to instructions for the BLN mod installation.

Almost SSGSII rooted. It doesn't notify for missed calls. Kinda seems cheap not to put that in the free version. Otherwise it seems to work nicely for texts.

Broke bln on my device I recently installed cm9 and used instigatorx kernel with bln. It worked perfectly before I installed this, but now will only make the lights blink. When I saw what it had done, I uninstalled it, now my lights don't come on at all. Reflashing my rom and staying away from this.

Excellent If you don't know what your doing don't download the app and don't rate poor this is a great app and just what I needed works great on my galaxy note i717 running cm9
