Description
TouchOSC is an OSC and MIDI control surface. It can send and receive Open Sound Control messages over a Wi-Fi network using the UDP protocol and can send and receive MIDI messages using the free TouchOSC Bridge application.The application allows to remote control and receive feedback from software and hardware that implements the OSC or MIDI protocols such as Renoise, Pure Data, Max/MSP/Jitter, Max for Live, OSCulator, VDMX, Resolume Avenue 3, Modul8, Plogue Bidule, Reaktor, Quartz Composer, Supercollider, FAW Circle, vvvv, Derivative TouchDesigner, Isadora and others.
The interface provides a number of different touch controls to send/receive messages: Faders / Rotary controls / Push buttons / Toggle buttons / XY pads / Multi-faders / Multi-toggles / LEDs
Additionally the program can send Accelerometer data. The application comes with five layouts that are organized in multiple pages.

Touch osc Works great with ableton but we could really use layout support with osc editor to make our own layouts

Sad, ignored by Dev No custom layouts. Very sad. It had real promise. Ooh well.....good for iPad, no Android support tho.

Custom layout I love this app! Lovely GUI but it needs custom layouts for android to be perfect and for me to want to use it live. Please please add this feature!

CUSTOM LAYOUTS FOR ANDROID?? - BUY OSCPAD It seems fairly obvious now (5 months since an update) that Hexler either has no desire to program for android, or he's worked a deal with apple to intentionally keep touchosc for ipad ahead of the game. Do yourself a favour - forget this app and go and support a real android developer - OSCPAD costs less than two pounds and offers custom layouts for ANDROID.

Custom layouts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great app, defenately the best on the market, you can use with almost any DAW, great for live performance and/or increaseing work flow in DAW CUSTOM LAYOUT PLEASE!!!!!

Awesome!!! Been looking for something like this. Excellent app. Shame Android can't send/receive MIDI over USB. Needs custom layouts and maybe possibility to add more than 4 screens. Keys could use octave switch, they play rather low in Orion. All in all, a must have app. Thank you for letting us have it without various ads garbage =) 5 stars from me

Awesome Would be nice if get the sync layouts feature to work with osc editor. Otherwise its cool n saved me a lot from getting a new mixer.

Next version already! im giving 1 star until he catches up to the iDevices version (1.8) this is only useful for testing. It will not connect to the layout editor so only the default layouts are available. It works great on an iPhone our iPad. Hey Hexler, I have another $5 waiting for you whenever you feel like taking Android seriously!
