Description
Finally, the famous Aeroweather app is now available on Android!Get current and precise weather conditions (METAR) as well as weather forecasts (TAF), which are used by pilots for their flight preparations. You can choose worldwide airport weather stations from the built-in database by either name, ICAO or IATA code. Data will be shown in its original format or fully decoded into easy understandable texts.
** NOTE: in order to display temperatures in Fahrenheit, switch off "Show original units"!
Features:
- shows additional information like sunrise/sunset, station location/elevation, timezone, and daylight saving adjustment
- optionally displays all times in GMT or in the station's local time
- supports US and metric units
- display/adding of nearby stations

Takes up top much space! 8.45 MB storage on my phone for a simple application, and I can't move it to SD card?? Come on, you can do better than this.

Simply awesome I have used this app for 2 yrs and since I received my 4.0.4 nexus update it says its not compatible . Please make it compatible its a hell of an app

Useful App Updated METARS for all airfields fine but wouldn't update the TAFs for the military airfields so limited use. However, it looked like a problem with the NOAA database which affected similar apps and now works fine. Excellent response and feedback from the developers

Used to work now it doesn't I downloaded this a month ago and it worked great. The I updated it once and it didn't work. Updated it 2 more times after that and it still won't work. HTC sensation.

Catching up to iPhone Best app for a quick look at aviation wx. I used to use it on my iPhone, the Android version is being updated regularly to become just as useful as the original. Keep it up! Looking forward to a last there METARs as is available on the iPhone. Thanks!

Finally working! Couldn't get it to load wx data on Sprint EVO 4g. Cleared data in prep for uninstall, tried app one more time and it worked!
