Description
OpenWatch is a network-enabled authority recorder! With this app, you can secretly record video and audio whenever you are dealing with an authority figure, and then anonymously upload it to the OpenWatch.net server to expose use and abuse of power! If you see corruption, expose it! If you see the police abusing their power, record them!
Use it whenever you deal with the police, the military, the TSA or private security forces in your country! If your rights are violated, you will have evidence!
The aim of the project isn't just to shame misbehaving authority, but to capture all interactions with authority in the interest of having a completely transparent society. Good or bad, all authority figures should have their actions be part of the public record.
Once you press record, the recorder becomes invisible and there is no visual indication that there is a recording in progress. Once you are safely away, you can open the app to stop recording, then anonymously upload the video to the OpenWatch server where it will be reviewed, your identity will be removed and it will be posted online.
OpenWatch aims to open up journalism to everybody with a cell phone, so whenever any of us encounter authority, corruption or brutality, we can expose it and make the world a better place!
More information about the OpenWatch project, the philosophy and how you can get involved is available at OpenWatch.net
Be brave!
OpenWatch and OpenWatch.net are Free and Open Source software.
Police, corporate executives, judges, lawyers, private security agents, lobbyists, bankers, principals and politicians: be mindful! We are watching!

Camera problem Audio works well, but video is like you're looking thru a weird prism, like what I imagine the visual system of a housefly would be like. Maybe next update? Samsung galaxy s2, bell mobility.
