Description
Have you ever driven past a state historical marker sign and wished you had time to stop and read it? Now, you don't have to stop. This simple application senses your location and finds those markers and other points of interest in the area you are driving through. The application is integrated with Google Maps to show you where they are in relation to your location.
Tap a marker and then choose to read the text on your device or have it read aloud to you.

Airpush ads removed! If you enjoy the app, please consider purchasing the key. It's less than a cup of coffee, but goes a long way in supporting us.

Airpush Ads Removed! Great app for those interested in geography and history like me. Developer removed invasive ads, example to other other developers. Well played!

Wonderful! Had a problem after 1 of the updates but they worked with me and resolved it. I would give even more stars if available. Highly recommend for history buffs!

What's around you. Makes it easy to learn the history of where you are. Can also pan the map to other areas.

Don't install! Uses AirPush spam! Started getting spam notifications on my phone (white star with red dot). Did some research and found out this is caused by AirPush technology which delivers unwanted advertisements to your notification bar. Downloaded the free AirPush Detector app which reported that this was the offensive program. Uninstalled it and the pending spam notification when away immediately, never to return. Only install if you like spam! Would give it zero stars if I could.

Gone bad. Was good and then intrusive banner ads were added. Uninstalled.
