Terrible app! So many problems with this app! Main issues are: If you pause it, very hard to restart. If you get a phone call or text, it's probably going to make you restart the episode. You can only download 1 episode at a time for offline listening. NOT WORTH $3. Can I get a refund?

Easy access to the back catalogue I'm perplexed by the negative feedback. I found this app easy to use and haven't had any problems with buffering or pausing.

Useable, but barely Ugh, I love NPR and TAL, and I want to like this app so bad. It works, but barely. Very buggy, streaming constantly stops or restarts at the beginning of the program, you can only download one episode at a time so forget about loading up for a long trip.

So disappointing! I love TAL, but all of the issues already listed are really frustrating. Just want to add that, frequently, when I'm not even listening to an episode, if I receive OR MISS a call, the last one I was listening to starts up! I'm afraid this will happen when I'm at the movies or in a meeting. PLEASE fix this app!!

Buggy There are so many problems with this app, I can't even list them all. Its constantly crashing, audio skips around, new episodes don't always show up. I love the content but you should avoid the app until they update it.

Terrible. Total waste of money and memory. Awful. Spontaneously freezes and shuts down, and you can never save more than one podcast offline. It's a waste of money, and needs a lot of work.

Good show, bad app This is an awful app. It force closes on me at least once a week, and the pause function doesn't work--most times after pausing a podcast or taking call, it restarts from the beginning. Plus, many episodes are missing, even though the description promises "on-demand access to the ENTIRE 400+ episode archive". I haven't done an exact count, but there are at least 50 episodes not available through this app. And this app has not been updated for 10 months! C'Mon Ira, you're better than this man.

Amazing show, terrible app I love the show, but this is ridiculous. The app randomly stops, pause function doesn't work, video doesn't work, and to top it all off, the app doesn't even have all of the episodes. The TAL website contains many episodes that are inexplicably absent from the list of episodes available to stream from the app. I emailed tech support for the app and they asked me which phone and app version I was using. I've read the other reviews and here's the thing: it doesn't matter what phone or software version I'm using. EVERYONE seems to be having these issues. SHAME on the TAL team for paying so much attention to the iphone app and so little attention to those of us who shelled out money for the FAR, FAR inferior Android app. FIX IT. FIX IT NOW
