Description
A small icon on notification bar to ensure if the data link is *REALLY* connected. Also shows your connection speed level. (On Android 2.2+ devices)Almost drains no battery, no traffic when screen is off.
Default pings 8.8.8.8 every 3 seconds, about 2 KB/min traffic when screen is on. You can change these settings.

Interesting concept Coming from someone who is a IT professional and knows a little bit about networking, I definitely like this app. There is only one problem... No help guide! It would be nice if there was something with a explanation from those layman who do not understand basic networking. I am on sprint and had to change the ping the IP address to 173.194.75.106 to get this to work on anything other than wifi. If it had a help section it would clearly be 4 stars, I rarely give 5s, unless the app does something remarkable.

Was better before Was a great app, sweet and simple. Solid bar -online, broken bar-offline. Not liking the new update. Please Give us the option to turn off the random seeming alternating numbers , I have no clue what they mean or why, just want to see if im online at a glance, some technical people may love it, but let the rest of us go back to the old simple one please

Text color on notificaton bar Please add option to change it, many themes make text on notifier unreadable.

Exactly what I was looking for! Although should be able to change font color in notification menu, black on grey is not cool!

Ideal for letting you know you are connected
