Description
OpenPGP for Android. It's open source and its goal is to provide a similar OpenPGP implementation as GnuPG.NOTE: Internet permissions are ONLY used for key server queries. I didn't like the idea of APG requesting those permissions either, but it is open source and the code shows that it doesn't use those permissions for anything else.
* manage secret/public keys (eg. GPG/PGP)
* encrypt/sign/decrypt/verify emails and files
* some integration into GMail accounts on the phone
* integration with K9
* HKP Keyserver support
* basic key creation and editing possible (beta)
* Intent API for other apps
Note: Internet permission is now needed because of the key server support.

No longer works on ICS Asks for password but never asks for destination. Click decrypt and asks for password again. Endless loop. Worked fine on Honeycomb.

It encrypts. Half-baked. It encrypts and decrypts files as advertised. It would be nice if I can change the default location of decrypted files. Also, decrypting files directly to the clipboard would be a plus. The app is overly aggressive associating itself with other apps. It's functional but needs to be polished to make it a great app. -Droid Bionic

Outdated & Buggy on ICS Using AGP with Kaiten Mail (K10) app for PGP encrypted email, but setup was not very straight forward and AGP crashes often. AGP works better with OI File Manager then Astro. Encrypted files (acs) won't show up in Astro while within AGP. Overall, it works if you don't mind jumping between 2-3 apps to read a single encrypted message. Sending encrypted message is easier, it can be done entirely within K10.

does not allow gmail reading anymore app has not been updated since 2 years, and it's not working anymore with recent version of Android. See bug reports for more infos. Unfor this was the only tool to manage GPG encryption/decryption and gmail integration. Too bad

Great app, albeit a bit unpolished I've got my passwords sync'd with Dropbox, and use this app in combination with the Dropbox app and Astro file manager to edit passwords on my Android phone. Sounds complicated, but it works well and is much more flexible (esp. on the desktop) than all-in-one solutions like 1Password. The app itself is a bit rough around the edges visually, but it does a good job importing keys and decrypting/encrypting content.

Perfect for SG2 Work perfect, relatively easy to use. Supports keyserverexport/import.
