What's New
This is a release update for XBMC v12.0 codename Frodo, which was released January 2013. Please note that running this with previous versions of XBMC may result in weird behavior due to API changes.

We're working on a next-gen version that will provide a new look, new features and (hopefully) less bugs!
The application has access to the following:
Network communication
full Internet access
Allows an application to create network sockets.
view network state
Allows an application to view the state of all networks.
view Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to view the information about the state of Wi-Fi.
Hardware controls
control vibrator
Allows the application to control the vibrator.
Phone calls
read phone state and identity
Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to, ect.
Your messages
receive SMS
Allows application to receive and process SMS messages. Malicious applications may monitor your messages or delete them without showing them to you.
read SMS or MMS
Allows application to read SMS messages stored on your phone or SIM card. Malicious applications may read your confidential messages.
Your personal information
read contact data
Allows an application to read all of the contact (address) data stored on your phone. Malicious applications can use this to send your data to other people.
System tools
disable keylock
Allows an application to disable the keylock and any associated password security. A legitimate example of this is the phone disabling the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enabling the keylock when the call is finished.
change Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points, and to make changes to configured Wi-Fi networks.
prevent phone from sleeping
Allows an application to prevent the phone from going to sleep.
automatically start at boot
Allows an application to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the application to slow down overall performance of the phone by constantly running.
Storage
modify/delete SD card contents
Allows an application to write to the SD card.
Other
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG

Works perfectly Installed, configured and up and running within 1 minute. Can't be bad. The interface is slick, the controls - well, they just work. That's on my Mac. Just waiting for my Raspberry Pi to arrive, so I can install XBMC there and use the same app for that installation. Thank you and kudos to the team, as always!

Excellent! Very good app. Could you pls add buttons to control shuffle and repeat functions for music playback. It would be nice to be able to change these without having the tv on. Also maybe a menu item to bring up the stream decoding info on screen which comes up if you press "o" on the keyboard. Overall though, fantastic!

Simply the Best XBMC Remote I agree wholeheartedly with all the other positive reviews here. This remote has been working famously on both my old Samsung Moment and my rooted Nook Simple Touch to control installs of XBMC on both a friend's Windows box, and my own Linux box.

Volume Control Where`s the volume control? Hostname setting instead of IP results to error. Pls fix. Otherwise 5stars.
