Many games run slow even on modern devices, and there are graphics problems with both video plug-ins for many games. It will improve over time, but it won't happen over night.

If you are having problems with the virtual gamepad buttons disappearing, just enable "Redraw All" under Settings->Virtual Gamepad.
Some phones (Galaxy Nexus) have a problem with downloading .zip files from some websites. The resulting files are corrupt. This is not a problem with the emulator. Try unzipping your file from your PC to make sure it isn't corrupt before you rate 1-star.
The Galaxy Nexus has intermittent problems with multi-touch. If you have this problem, visit my website to help me solve it!
Occasionally the config files will become corrupt. This will result in the app reporting that no controllers are connected, and will likely also result in crashes when you try to use the on-screen gamepad. If this happens, back up your save files and then choose "Restore App Data" from the Settings menu. I am looking into this problem, and will try to have it fixed by the next update.
The .7z format is not supported. If your ROMs are in this format they must be uncompressed before you can play them.
The current video plug-ins require GLES v2.0. This app will not run on earlier versions of GLES. I am planning to develop a video plug-in for GLES v1.1, but it will likely be some time before it is ready.
In the promotional video, Epic_bubble is using the Xperia Play version of the app, which is listed separately on the market. If you own an Xperia Play, I recommend using that version; everyone else: this is the version for you.
Over-clocking is highly recommended if your device supports it. There are many game compatibility issues to be worked out. Many games have graphics problems that will need to be fixed.
