And this just a quick glance at the selection. As you can see, there’s really something out there for everyone. At http://www.remkosforum.com/ you can access the same exact forum list as on your Android phone. It’s possible to argue about the merits of the forum’s content because while some people will find the information to be useful, others may not find it not interesting at all. Thankfully,
there’s a wide enough selection of topics to attract a diverse group of people.
Even if the contents are OK, the way things get communicated and shared deserves some attention. And this is where Remko’s Forum needs a bit of improvement. Remko let’s you post Facebook-style status messages that don’t always work the way they were meant to. After you’ve typed in a status message (e.g. “I’m soooooo bored. Help!”) and press the Share Feed button your status gets instantly posted. The problem is that if you accidentally tap the Share Feed button multiple times (like when the app stalls or lags), you’ll end up posting the same thing 3 or 4 times in a row!
When you create new thread in the forum, you have to refresh the thread screen before you can actually see it. The app had a hard time dealing with pictures – every time I tried uploading a picture from my 2.2 HTC Desire phone, the app would instantly force close on me.
Another annoying thing is that every time you go to look at a thread, you are automatically redirected to the last post regardless of where you left off last time. Writing things on the forum is actually pretty fun using the app’s pull-out writing block.
You also have the option of exchanging private messages between Remko’s forum users. There’s also something like a photo voting contest.
Bottom Line:
Remko includes a whole lot of different topics for discussion and reading. If Remko would like to have as much success with Android as it did with Blackberry users, they definitely need to fine tune some things. Remko is aware of this and let’s all the users know that the app is still in its beta-version at start-up.

Very little freedom of speech! Full of mods dictating the way they want you to go regarding conversations and favouring friends in the rooms not been on long but seen enough to dislike the way it is run
